I need to integrate an incoming emails with vbulletin.
Site is running vb3.6.1 with VBDrupal CMS.
Certain threads will have email accounts associated. 1. Incoming emails are reviewed for content in header. 2. The header may contain either the word "private" or "public" and be routed based on the word or lack there of. 3. Based on header information the email content is either dumped into a file on server (private), or added to a specific thread in a forum (public). 4. Auto responder will send response to sender asking them to confirm they sent it (Anti-spam) as Private or Public or asking them if it is Private or Public if they forgot to include header. 5. The messages placed into the thread have to be approved by a moderator or admin before it is viewable by the public (I think this feature is already available in vb). 6. The file will be placed into a directory for that specific email account and have the email account name A-1111 added with a randomly generated string to prevent duplicate names. 6. Attachment management. Emails that have attachments have the attachments saved into the same email directory for each email address and have the email file name added to it with a -1 increasing number appended to the end based on how many different attachements were in the email. Example: Email w/ 2 attachments comes in for a-1111@site.org Email placed into a-1111 dir. email file titled a-1111-xjs88fs.txt attachment1 placed into a-1111 dir. attachement1 named a-1111-xjs88fs-1.jpg attachment1 placed into a-1111 dir. attachement2 named a-1111-xjs88fs-2.jpg (This is negotiable if you think you have a better idea) 7. If the attachment are pictures they are saved in the directory AND if the email is PUBLIC then they are also integrated into the thread so they are visible in the thread. 8. Additionally possibly getting the threads to display properly in the CMS separate from the forum. Payment through paypal only. I have a budget of $1000 for all the projects related to this site so I need to figure out how much this piece is going to cost me. I really do not have a good idea of what the market is for this type of work so I am going to request multiple bids to get a fair idea. Thanks. I will check back or reach me at rockethobbit at g m a i 1 . com |
