I want to make a vps for my brother, can someone plz plz plz help me?

The site I have in mind is a virtual world, with games and four breeds of Korsh (fantasy creatures) which can gain levels.
I really want to make this site. I am not a n00b, and I know how much work this will mean, but I am willing to put in the time--I just want to know where to start! I will be soooo thankful to any1 who can help me!
