Seeking for Free - Need PHP/MySQL work will trade time

I have a site that I cannot find a reliable developer for. The first person I hired I ended up paying over $2000 to initially build the php, MySql database and the interface. He quit before the project was finished. I hired a second person to finish it and redo some of the problem areas. After paying more money he also quit. The first guy quit because he got a full time job. The second just flaked out on me. I'm not sure what his problem was.

What I really need is someone who will take the time to look at my site and project with me and give me a good idea of what it will take to get this project finished. I'm a stay at home military wife who has spent the last 6 years taking care of my grandmother, mother and brother who have all been seriously ill or disabled. My cash flow is not good at the moment and won't be for quite some time. I have a lot of skills that I can trade services if you might be willing to work with me. I have 20+ years in bookkeeping plus I'm an antiques dealer and professional genealogist. I charge $15 per hour for bookkeeping or genealogy (family history research) and would be willing to work at my current rate to compensate for this project being done.

The site is basically a MySql database that users are searching on and get the results back. It is a paid subscription site. There are php/MySql pages that are open to anyone on the web but the main search functions in the database are subscription only.

Hello, I Specialize in PHP/MYSQL development and may be interested in doing this job. The only thing I have to ask is if you can use your geanology skills and military connections not only to trace familiy history but possibly find the whereabouts of a person.
I am asking this because, well Id like to find my dad, and if you have the skills to track down this person given his name and few other minor details I will more than gladly do your project.

Elementis,

I'd be happy to discuss a deal. My situation has changed quite a bit on this project. I've now built the site in Mambo using a MySQL database and Coppermine photo gallery. There are much more simple things that I need done now instead of rebuilding the whole site.

Are you wanting general genealogy research done on your family in addition to finding your dad? The success on finding him will be directly affected by how much information you have already. Please don't put any info here on the forum. We can do that by PM or email.
