text pager script
I am wondering if anyone knows of a script that can be configured to send text messages to text pagers (via text pager email address). I am also looking for this script to be able to send a message to a group of pagers, some pagers would be part of several groups.
I would love to sit down and write this code, but I'm just too green and don't know enough. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! XB

it would take a simple use of the mail() function. Read up on it. It isnt really that hard of a peice of code to write.

usually the pager company has some sort of API you can plug into, I wrote a web to pager app when I worked for Intel but I wrote that in ASP.
Now that nearly everyone has SMS enabled phones there are lots of apps created to reach them.
