Wanted: Coder, Dead or Alive (preferably alive)

Hey all!

I'm working on a project to input into a database. I'd like to input data both manually and by gathering data off of web pages, do some automatic calculations, and spit out the processed data in a certain format. I'll also need the ability to easily update the data manually or automatically.

I've been doing this all manually in MS Excel and started writing a VBA program to speed up the repetitive stuff. But the whole thing is getting too bulky, and I need my time to research and find the data. My Helpdesk buddy told me to do something with PHP and/or javascripts, and recommended this site.

I'm willing to pay a coder to develop a program to work with me on this. The project will evolve some over time, so this could be a potential long term relationship.
