Alcan rejects takeover by Alcoa (Reuters)

Reuters - Alcan Inc. rejected
on Tuesday an unsolicited $27.6 billion takeover offer from
rival aluminum producer Alcoa Inc. , but the Canadian
company said it was in talks with third parties.
