Caterpillar profit tops estimates; raises outlook (Reuters)

Reuters - Caterpillar Inc. reported
better-than-expected quarterly earnings on Friday and raised
its outlook, saying "exceptional growth" outside North America
was offsetting weakness in the U.S. residential housing and
truck engine markets.
