Investor's Business Daily - The Economic Cycle Research Institute's Weekly Leading Index rose to 142.7 in the week ended May 4 from 142.4 the prior week. The annualized growth rate rose to 5.2%, a 3-year high, from 4.4%. Stronger housing activity and lower jobless claims and interest rates were behind the rosy outlook.
