GMAC posts loss, hurt by mortgage unit (Reuters)

Reuters - General Motors Corp.'s former
finance arm, GMAC, posted a first-quarter loss on Wednesday as
pressure on the U.S. mortgage market forced the company to take
charges at its housing finance unit.
