TPG, Goldman unit, to buy Alltel in $25 billion deal (Reuters)

Reuters - Wireless company Alltel Corp.
said on Sunday it agreed to be bought by TPG Capital and the
buyout arm of Goldman Sachs for about $25 billion,
making it the latest U.S. corporate target to be scooped up by
private equity buyers.
