Actionscript
Does anybody know anything about Flash Actionscript? From the very little I looked at it seemed a little like Java or Javascript. I'm planning a project that might utalize PHP, mySQL, and Flash. If anybody whos done something like this has some words of wisdom, that'd be great.

yeah.. I have done some stuff with the combination of Flash-PHP-MySQL. The ActionScript Dictionary is what helped me a lot.. Its sorta like the PHP Manual you get it from www.php.net
Let me know about the stuff you are doing.. I will try ma best to help you out..

I want to do a large scale online multi-user type thing. It would kind of be a mix between The Sims, an RPG, Yahoo!, and AIM. Do you think this would be the right medium to work in?
