Question Basic CSS help - liquid or fixed?

Hi

I'm trying to redesign my site www.widgieworld.com - but I really don't know much about CSS. All the layouts I've ever done have been really basic.

I want a site that will take up the whole screen for most users, if not all - but I don't know whether to go for liquid layout, or make a fixed layout and just make it centred for larger screens.

I've got a basic idea of what I want - http://www.widgieworld.com/MKK/template.jpg

Please help >_> How do I do this?

If I understand you correctly, you could just create a sort of wrapper div tag. One that has height and width set to 100%. Then just build your layout inside that, and give each div/other element sizes in percentages.

Getting the elements to line up correctly could be more problematic, you could just set the margins using percentages again......

Sorry I can't be more specific, Im no CSS guru..... Just a little bit of theory..
