Gradient Background

I was wondering if anyone could give me a solution to my problem.

At the moment I use both internet explorer 6 and Firefox Mozilla browsing to test my website. FOr the website I am doing I have a gradient background.

Gradient Code:

<body style="filter:progid: DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Gradient(endColorstr='# F5F5F5', startColorstr='#C0C0C0', gradientType='0');">

This code works fine in the internet explorer browser but it doesnt however work in the mozilla browser.

My question is does anybody know anyway that I could edit this code to make it acceptable in the mozilla browser.

or...

Does anybody know another method that I could use to do this gradient background which would be acceptable in all browsers.

Any help is much appreciated!

p.s please note that in the code the : D need to be together ... i had to space them because it kept showing the coding as a smiley face :S

RE: Gradient Background

code you post can only work in Internet explorer and it will not work in Mozilla firefox and any other browser.

Put the gradient image in backround instead.
You can use picture lets say 1x300, and say to repeat on x.

It's nice detail, and picture is not bigger than few b.
