It's all in the head, and the foot
When a web page is printed IE will put header and footer information on the printout, like the url. Is there a way to supress this or is it up to the person printing the page to change their IE settings for printouts?
Thanks for any help |

RE: It's all in the head, and the foot
I think it is just up to the person...you might be able to do something with ActiveX controls, but it would be an IE only solution....

RE: It's all in the head, and the foot
This is a round about way of doing things but in IE6, you can goto FILE | PAGE SETUP , Then del the crap in the header and footer box and it won't print that any more. The problem is that every end user has to do the same.

Don't ask me how, but I think if it's possible to do what you want, the answer may be here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/browser/hosting/printpreview/reference/reference.asp I've never played with this at all... |
