Preload file?

i have made a website with background music but the problem is that the sound file is 5mb so this means that it start rather late after you've entered the website. I have been looking for a script for a preloader which loads the file but i couldn't make much sense of it or it would't work at all.

This is the situation: i have 2 frames: "bar.htm"(here is where the sound file is located)
"main.htm"(the page which all the text and stuff is)

If it would be possible i would like a page which loads the music file and after it loaded redirects to the website

Is it possible to add a progress bar to it? So that people can see the progress

Don't put music on site.

But if is really neceserry, code the music as mp3 and put it into flash.

And make some simple sound preloader in flash
