Select List Truncation

I have inherited a PHP 4.2 script that selects a list of e-mail addresses from a database. Using my Windows XP IE 6 as a client I get the full list in a scrolling box. On a MAC running OS 9 with IE the list is truncated, some times in mid address. We tried increasing the storage allocated to IE but this had no effect. The clients use diffent ISPs to access the server site.

Any ideas would be appreicated.

RE: Select List Truncation

Perhaps one of the addresses contains a character it shouldn't (like < or something). Are you using htmlspecialchars()?

RE: Select List Truncation

No special codes are being used. What I can not understand is I have no problems on a WIN XP machine wuth 512MB. The mac is OS 9 with 140MB Is is a setting in explorer on the MAc or an ISP limit. I told her to buy a PC but you know those Mac people - loyal to the end
