send file by mail from html

Hi there, i´ve got a problem, i need one script to let my users send jpg files from my web page to my e-mail, i don´t know if this could be possible, i guess yes!!
how can i do that?
i install some php scripts but don´t work (im a neofit to configure) i wanna know if exist some java applet who can do that.
someone want help me???
