Unwanted Linked Words
Im working on a site for a company called Roger Anderton Corporatewear Ltd.
Now when I put the site online nothing was wrong with how i wanted it, i viewed it in different browsers and on different machines. But one day he rang me up saying how some words on the main page had been linked to search engines such as bed linen. What could this be? My first guess was that its spyware on his computer coz when I was at his house he did seem to have a fair bit on his machine and maybe that is causing it. What precautions can I take to prevent this happening if it is an issure with the site? Link: http://www.andertoncorporatewear.co.uk |

RE: Unwanted Linked Words
I took a look at the site and did not see any links that pointed to any other sites as described. Do you see the same links he does? I think your gues is correct, it may be spyware that modifies the pages in the Temporary Internet cache on the local machine. If your pages are secure on the server, then you have done about all you can as far as security goes.
