RE: corridors (preliminary) results
Thanks Zombie and all those who organised this contest. I entered it and am quite happy to finish one before last, since I am only a very beginner in programming.
I am sorry to see some people who are so focused on winning. I personally enjoyed myself so much with this challenged, and I learned heaps. I think it would be nice if, instead of comparing raw results, we had a little discussion on the implementations and algorithms that were used, be they most efficient or not. There's not much we can learn about a score, but we could all learn from each other's ideas. The contest would then bring our knowledge and skills together, instead of pitting us against each other in an open competition to get the best score. These are just my thoughts anyway. I would be very sorry to see the contests end here just because some have been abusive and impatient about the results. |

RE: corridors (preliminary) results
ok ivo, since
1) no one else supported the idea, and 2) even you say that "the difference is small, so the discussion is more or less academic", and 3) it is easier (for me i am stating that this results are official (in the new thread). |
