the contests have been on hiatus for quite a while since there have been problems in the past with several things, most of which is time needed to judge and set up a contest. I'm curious as to if there is going to be some contest support in the new site when it is done though or if the contests are going to even be transfered over.

the contests aren't going anywhere - they'll be back, eventually. phpthrowdown as mentioned on the news page might hold you over for now eh?

I was more curious if matt was gonna be adding some built in support for contests in the re-write. like things that were talked about a while ago in the contest forum.
