Are Databases faster?
I would like to know which is faster:
1. Build a forum and holding all your posts/info/everything in files. Making it just flat-dile driven. 2. Using a mySQL datbase for all your forums posts/info/everything. I thought it was much faster from a DB, but some guy is telling me I'm completely wrong and telling me I'm a smartass. |

RE: Are Databases faster?
Ask that guy how he plans to index the flat-files? Then tell him he is a fool and go back to coding FoxPro...
