db search from static table text
I am a beginner at this php programming language. I have learned quite a bit thus far. However, I am having trouble creating a script to search my db. I have a table with a list of services, and lets say i have text that says php codes. I want to be able to search the db when i click on that text. Can anyone help me please.

are you wanting to search for specific table values or do a full text search on a text field?

i am sorry let me clearify my question i have a dynamic table set up in dreamweaver, where each row and colomn have text i the want to click on that text and have it query the database table for the information.
