Looking for SQL facts
Does anyone know of any information on how much the MySQL memory cache speeds up the query searches(Version 4)?
The web-site claims up to 200% improvement...has anyone seen anything that verifies this? Or perhaps can give us a better breakdown of improvement? Thanks |

RE: Looking for SQL facts
Well, from my experience, there is improvement, not negligible, but also not 200%. It really depends on what the users are doing.. If you can, I'd suggest you make a query log of your app and then run it against both versions.
