MySQL Error 1130
When I try to connect to a remote MySQL database I get the following error:

ERROR 1130: Host 'pool-141-***-177-**.bos.e****.*****.***' is not
allowed
to connect to this MySQL server

(Blanked out some of the numbers/letters with *)

My host says it is a problem on my end and not theirs. I tried looking this up on the web but can't find anything useful.

According to the mysql manual at http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Error-returns.html It means you do not have the privileges to connect.

I kind of understood that from the error (and research). My question is what do I do to fix this error? Why don't I have privileges? Is this something I am supposed to fix or my host?

The reason I am confused is my host told me it was something on my end.

they prob dont let you connect remotely. you have to put the script on the same server.
