Oracle 8.1.6 on Solaris 2.6
If you were to install Oracle 8.1.6 on Solaris 2.6, then upload into a BLOB column what would you expect to happen to your system?
I don't work with Solaris so don't know the answer. Thanks in advance. |

RE: Oracle 8.1.6 on Solaris 2.6
i don't work with solaris eather (or i did just once), but i would expect it to behave just as any other os/platform.
if you are using php/oracle combo that is, it should behave much like php/oracle combo on linux, freebsd or windows... |

RE: Oracle 8.1.6 on Solaris 2.6
The reason I asked.... It was brought up as a brainteaser... something different happens... but I just don't know what. I don't have a Solaris machine to test it on either.
That is exactly how it was asked too :-( |
