PHP and MS SQL

we use SQL to store account information for our clients. I would like to build a PHP page on and Win 2000 pc using the account info from SQL so that clients can log in and check their account status. Any place I can go to get help on how to do this? I AM A NEWB! Can I use the MySQL and PHP tutorials that I have found?

Thanks

RE: PHP and MS SQL

To answer your question...yes you can. You can create a page with very little html that is PACKED with content. How is it packed? With every load of the page you can pull data from the db and display it for the user. You can do virtually anything the database server allows you to do locally. I.E. add, change, delete, etc. The only limitation is you. I'm not sure what you know, or what you have already...so a few questions are in order before I can help you.

Have you any programming exp?
Do you have php installed?
Do you have MSSQL installed?
Do you know php?

Answer these and we'll have a basis for what you should start with.
