Please help - 1/2 of our site is down! MAYDAY!
MySQL 4.0.13

I am getting a SQL error on my mainpage, and a whole module has gone down. We have no webmaster, so I don't know how it was setup, but it is a major crisis. Can anyone help me with ideas on how to fix it. Please forgive my inexperience... I'm just working with a site that I did not setup.

Just before line 283 in your sql_layer.php, there is probably a call to mysql_query. Change that line to something like:

  2. $result = mysql_query(...) or die(mysql_error());


Post here what that outputs.

I'm confused by your confusion.

Post sql_layer.php from line 250 to 290 and we'll go from there.

Looks like you are using postnuke. What's the URL? Do you have ftp access to your site? if so got to the directory "html/includes/" and download the file "sql_layer.php". Then copy lines 250 - 260 and post them here.
