Significant digits problem from SQL Server to PHP

My SQL query returns a number that is stored as 1.0947 as data type money to 8 digits. But when I run this query from PHP. It reads in only 1.09. Can somebody please help me out?

I'm using SQL Server 2000 and PHP 4.3.1 on windows
