SQL Server 2000 'index' fields
Hi all'
i'm fairly new to SQL Server, and convering a database from Access to SQL server. Several fields are currently named Index, and i seem to get problems with em. I found a kind of solution, adding brackets in my ASP code everywhere there is a reference to an index field, but it doesnt solve all my problems. So i was looking for advice, should i just rename all the index fields? i know this may sound confusing or weird, if more explanation is needed just email me. Jonathan.gauthier@bell.ca |

RE: SQL Server 2000 'index' fields
Renaming those fields would really be your best bet. Index is a key word in SQL Server and using it as a field name will cause you plenty of problems....
