Backup Drive
I found a drive laying around recently and decided to use it as backup storage. Normally I unplug it incase of the server being hacked... but if the server was hacked and the drive was plugged in would it be possible for the drive to be accessed and the data deleted?

RE: Backup Drive
You say server, so I hope you mean a *nix based server. If you unmount the drive after each use, the chance of it getting wiped is small. Most script kiddies would not know how to find an unmounted drive.
