I personally find it minorly distracting - but if it helps offset the costs of the site - works for me.

the site is however becoming quite overrun with "stuff" though (hosting services ad, google ads, network sites, partner sites, and affiliations). but that is just my $0.02.

I think it's only distracting because it's new, but if it helps keep the site up, I'm all for it.

Matt, I've always wondered how big the server bill generally is for Codewalkers? I understand if you don't want to answer this but it'd be interesting.

The server runs roughly $200 a month...

why would i yell? have i ever said anything against ads? (okay, maybe i did )

and this are context-sensitive ads (sort of), and i like that kind..
