RE: Book on MySQL

I checked the reviews before I posted this.. I just want a book that covers more on MySSQL as I said the field types + how to write advanced queries.. If the book on the review covers then please educate me on that.

RE: Book on MySQL

For in-depth information on the data types, http://www.mysql.com is an invaluable resource.

As for advanced SQL statements, you can use the online mysql docs, or you can go with my favorite SQL book Joe Celcko's _SQL for Smarties_. Celcko was on one of the SQL standards committes, so I think he knows what he's talking about.

RE: Book on MySQL

Thanks for the information.. But according to a comment I read earlier he's more on to views and subselects which MySQL doesn't support.. But I'm sure it will give me a good idea of things.. I'll check out on that..

Thanks again..
