making a list for my self and what projects to work on so i have a nice foundaion of php exp as well as usefull app

I'm Already working on a CMS but im pondering a

Forum, Blog, Virtual Pet, and Mailing List system

any morei shoud add to my project to do list that would be a good way to really test my skills

Maybe a templating system... Also are you looking into best practices, good design, SQL optimization, and tight security.

Its not just about writing code that works.
