copy history

i've heard of this being done before, but can't seem to find anything on it..

has anybody heard of or know about a plug-in/program for windows that will allow you to have a copy history? for example, you select a line of text and right click + copy. then you do it again with another line of text. then when you go to paste, it shows you a history of your different copied items to choose from..

i'd really like to have this feature but dunno where to find it.

I don't know of anything for use with notepad, but if you upgrade to Textpad 4.6 or greater, you'll be happy.

blindeddie's suggestion really isn't free yah.. once you install you find out it's only a 30 trial before you buy, plus pop up windows keep coming up telling you to visit the web site.

so far matt's suggestion is running well, although it doesn't appear to save copied images/snapshots or files, just text..

Yeah, the clip container program is one of those bait and switch kind of things. They get you hooked on the concept and then bug you until you pay the registration fee.
