crazy thought
I have a crazy thought, what would happen if browsers allows you to make the window round and transparency.
I think it will be very cool  . On Mac Os X it's possible to do that with applications it's really cool.Just a thought i'd to share!

nothing much.. you can already do that with applications (also on win2k+), and with browsers (mozilla'a XUL supports transpirency too), but nothing revolutional came up yet..
also, new tech from MS, called XAML looks cool on demos, but i don't expect much..

I think changing the shape of a window (round, jagged edges, a diamond, etc.) would seriously undermind the usability of an application. People aren't used to it and would feel very confused.

I have to agree with honcho. Although it might be cool looking, people are not used to circular windows and thus get confused.
