RE: Does anyone know were to get a copy of QuickBasic?

Unfortunattly i hate to say it the download did work but not when i ran it... i know the code can be veiwed in txt file right? so would it be possible to use that and use c++ to make it a exe file? because ive been wanting to actually learn a computer based programming language other than web based... what other language is simple like qbasic?

If your goal is to learn another language that isn't web bases, I would recommend learning C. Not only is PHP heavily based upon it (and written in it), C is a very useful and widely used language. A good starting place is:

I'd recommend Java. Many beginners say that Java is easier to learn than C and I agree!

I'd stay as far away from java as you can. Java is nothing but a bloat and memory hog .
