Interesting idea - I am assuming it is similar to the SETI project (which is what I do). Can the project be added to my BOINC client? I don't mind having a secondary project for it.

The points (the fun part) from your folding effort (for the Dev team) can be shown next to your posts like mine. It is a great cause if you want to (and can afford to) put your spare cpu cycles to use. You can get a lot more details in the link I mentioned or in Dev Hardware http://www.devhardware.com/forums/dev-folding-29/

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the f@h client has anything to do with BOINC, except sharing the idea of distributed computing. So you need the folding client.
For some reason I couldn't manage to get the client to run completely in the background. But that's ok, I don't mind having one extra terminal window open.

They are not lost they just stay with your previous team but if you mean they do not show up for DevFolding you are correct, which is a bit of a setback in terms of your team points. With that machine folding 24/7 you will quickly make up ground within our team. Fold to Cure Last edited by JohnFrank : April 7th, 2008 at 07:32 PM. |

Yeh thats what I meant. Theyre still with Team Ubuntu. PS3's are really great for folding
My folding stats on here seem to be updating... it was a bit of a pain to find my ID though... Last edited by Andrew : April 8th, 2008 at 07:04 AM. |

Just passed 2,500,000 and in the top 1,000 worldwide for our devfolding team.
Come along and join us if you can, we can always use more team members. If you have a recent NVidia or ATI card you can also use those to fold and earn some good points compared to most CPU folding. |
