Check these out:

http://www.free-php-hosting.com/

http://www.clickherefree.com/

Or, if you have cable or DSL, do like me and host your own website. You can get a free domain name to point to your IP from:

http://www.d2g.com

RE: free php host

I started out using lycos 's free hosting service, their "webftp" thingy often took multiple attampts to load succesfully and occasionally screwed around but I found them otherwise to be fine. I would think you cou could use your own preffered method of ftp but I never tried. The worst buit was having to sign up for a new email address, but on the upside thats where postmoderngoblin originated so it wasn't all bad .

Hi, I tried to have my own hosting but I can't find a good program for it. Can you recommend me one?

In my looong experience with web hosts, I can assure you that there is no such thing called FREE PHP HOST. It is much cheaper to buy it

FREE PHP HOST

Well they pretty much exist, its just a host that offers PHP on there server for free

But your better of buying it, people tend to take less care in free services

RE: free php host

Well I tried 4 "FREE PHP HOSTS" and two went offline in less than a month, one was daily online approximately 5 hours and one had 3 (three) popups, installer and 720x90 banner on top. It is much cheaper to pay ~5$ per month

RE: free php host

Host yourself and use www.no-ip.com it is a free DNS service which offers a subdomain + Dynamic dns service so if you have dial-up you can download a program which updates your Ip on there server so your service will never go down. But it is recommended if you host yourself you get/have cable/dsl connection.

Well if you live in the UK like me you can get some pretty decent hosting for like £50 a year. Or you could try (Us) www.splashhost.com or for Uk www.splashhost.co.uk

RE: free php host

Why not host yourself that way you govern what features you get. Ideal if you are going to use certain php libaries.
