General Hosting Quesion

I've been using Powweb to host and play, but there are a ton more out there.

Any recommendations or caveats?

There are so many hosting options, it is unbelievable. Are there certain features you are looking for? Are you unhappy about something at powweb?

RE: General Hosting Quesion

i just realized rd42, i live right next to you. i know a lot of the local hosting companies around here if you're interested. i prefer a place where i can actually walk in and hug the server, personally.

otherwise, rochen is a good start, or just search the forums here for more options, as this has been discussed before

Actually Powweb has been great, I have referred quite a few friends and customers their way. Great price, great support, and great up time.

The box I have sitting on a T1 were I do all my playing on will no longer be an option Now that PHP and MySQL is growing out of the hobby stage for me, I will need a new playground.

Thanks for the responses.

I did find one interesting site with freehosting and a pretty active forum at http://hosting.free2code.net/

http://rochenhost.com looks like a great host.
