Help with test
Hi... I'we made a webstat script, that i need help testing. The reason is that i register countrys, and it's somehow difficult to test on a small site as mine. The only thing you have to do is click this link http://www.hinet.dk/~kohaar , and if you are interested in the result it can be seen here: http://www.hinet.dk/~kohaar/phpstat.
The script is currently only in danish... Regards... Karsten |

RE: Help with test
Interesting...looks like it gathers some nice stats. Maybe you could post the finalized version here when you are done?

RE: Help with test
That my friend is way cool!
I really like the way you recorded the resolution and color depth, _VERY_ creative. I like it soo much, I have got to use that method. Throw in JpGraph and this is over the top. Awesome work. |

RE: Help with test
I read a book, where js were used to send data to php through a form. Don't know how creative that is... ;-)
I need a little help with an idea on how to register hits on different pages without registering all the other data (e.g. country, colordepth, screensize). The js have to be the same at each page... |

RE: Help with test
I am also recording the day (Sunday, Monday, etc) and the hour. I was planning on adding individual page counts later this week ... my thought right now is to use PHP to record that info with $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'].

RE: Help with test
Now that I think about it, I don't think PHP_SELF is the answer. I'll have to give this more thought later, gotta go.

RE: Help with test
Where can i see this script of yours? I have now translated the script to english. I could use some help with my translation of readme.txt.
The script can be found at http://hinet.dk/~kohaar/phpdownload.php |

RE: Help with test
I am writing to a db. I couldn't figure out how get the reso and depth, and I like the way you did it.
I read the readme.txt file and could only find these two typos: replace "imagetab" with "image tag" replace "muck" with "much" When I have totally finished my script, should be in a day or two, I will give you the link. Great job. |

RE: Help with test
Yes... I've made an english version. It can be downloadet at www.hinet.dk/~kohaar/phpdownload.php
Right now i'm optimizing the code, so if you want to edit the code, i would recomend that you wait until i'm finish... |

RE: Help with test
You'r welcome to
It is finished now, but i haven't testet it very much. I've reduced the code from 1314 to 679 lines. You can download it at http://www.hinet.dk/~kohaar/download/phpstat_eng2.zip If you will use the script without editing i recomend that you use the old script found at http://www.hinet.dk/~kohaar/phpdownload.php. It's been tested more Good luck... |
