How times have changed ....
My son just picked up a calculator and spoke into it believing it's a mobile phone. When I first saw a mobile I thought it was a calculator.

RE: How times have changed ....
Well, mobile phones and calculators do look like each other.

RE: How times have changed ....
when i first saw it i thought it was only a nokia gameboy type thing, but then i read this:
"It's a game deck, it's an MP3 player, it's a wireless browser, it's a phone. If it's a Nokia N-Gage⢠mobile game deck, it's all of these and more. If you want to know exactly what's inside this little package, you're on the right page." |

The best part is that I was lucky to have a feel of the N-Gage. I have a friend who owns it and I should say I was speechless for hours..

No, I don't consider it as a phone. I don't consider any Nokia products as phones since the 8110. After that they've become everything else than phones. Those games are boring and needless and the screen is far too small to surf the web. We Finns are over-patriotic on Nokia. We think Nokia is Finnish. NONSENSE! Nokia is an international corporation which just started in Finland. They're moving more and more factories to far east and that is NOT Finland. Why did I bring this to this thread? The answer is very simple... Just give me some time to come up with it ;) |

RE: How times have changed ....
all i can say is to quote Bjarne Stroustrup (creator of C++)
"I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone. My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone." |

I don't consider it as a phone either. I was just trying to add up to "How times have changed ....". When things like this are available I won't be surprised when a two year old starts speaking into a gameboy. Quote:
Its true. Even I had to check lenghty manuals for using mobile phones. But when time moves on we have to adopt to latest technologies. Its caryying a PC in your palm if you carry a mobile phone. Its far better than you have to carry stuff like these. ![]() Say if I can login to my server and remotely configure it using my mobile phone when I'm on the walk where I can't get to a PC. All I can say is we should adopt to these technologies. Not to play games though but can help us in a better way for living in this modernized world. |
