i dont understand

hi can any one tell me whatkind of script do i need to make a personals site, for example migente.com how can i do a site like that, what kind of php do i need for it? i want members to have there own small page where they can upload 4 pics to it and stuff.

you've got a long way to go, first you will have to start learning the basiks of php and then of mysql
otherwise you won't be able to do anything like that. because you will have to write you're scripts your self, i think there is nobody who would write such a script just for fun. so start learning php

well maybe they have the scripts in hotscripts in which i can buy it or something, just need to know where it owuld be under

hm i've got no idea. but it wouldn't be to hard to code yourself if you know basiks of php and mysql. have you got a webspace where you can use php and mysql?

yes i got webspace. i dont know the basics of php, my webhost is gonna install a script to achieve member log ins and stuff and pages for them but now i need a script for advanced search and stuff

hm it's more then enough search scripts out there, shouldn't be hard to find one there

so um can some one help me with it? i pay for custom made scripts if any can do it? is that kind of script called portal systems?

if you want somehting really specific (i.e. a singles dating site) then you are going to need customization.

i found 3 results for "singles" - 71 results for "dating", and 40 results for "personals" by searching at hotscripts.com

If your looking at pre-made site, might look at http://www.phpbb.com for a start. This is basically a pre-made forum. However, once you have that done, go to http://smartor.is-root.com and look at the Photo Album.

This would give you an interactive site and photo upload ability from a Pre-Can.

I would also suggest you take time and start to learn PHP. I'm a PHP newbie, but there are lots of ways to mod the pre-can as well as build your own add ons and Codewalkers is the place to be as you learn..
