I need some PHP and MySQL Programming

I'm in need of some low cost programming for some pretty basic back-end stuff that I don't know how to do and have given up trying.

Basically, I need the ability to form update a list of performance dates, etc. for a band; and to have that done by way of a simple password protected (even a hard-coded password) page. A simple filter to remove dates that have been played, etc.

I've been using Adobe GoLive, and can't get started with their front end stuff.

Help! Please give me some idea of what this would cost.
