Lamp Certification

One of my friends say that there is a lamp certification. I want to start working with head hunters and doing temp assignments. But I can't find any place that offers it-I have never worked a job that used lamp but thats all I use at home. Do you all know of a place that offers the lamp certification?

the total stack - not that I know of. I beleive Linux has a certification - though I am unsure how accepted it is. MySQL has it's own certification program (I am Core Certified) and for PHP there is the Zend certification (similar to Sun's cert for java). Apache - i don't know of any cert for that.

define lamp certification please. for each member of the LAMP stack there are certifications. I personally have only a few. I do not have any for L (Linux) or A (Apache) and am unsure if there are any reputable ones. But I do have PHP4 and PHP5 ZCE and the MySQL4 Core and MySQL5 CMDEV.

If you find something for the whole stack - you would be wasting your time and money getting it.

I got my certification in Apache / MySQL / PHP from a 5-day boot camp in San Francisco, California called AcademyX. They have a web site at Academyx.com

Knowing Linux was a prerequisite for the class, so it leaves out the "L" in LAMP.

It was a bit pricey at nearly $2000 for the course, but well worth it for the experience they provided, and not quite as bad financially as many of the MSCE courses I've taken.
