RE: Mr Notepad

well, my script does two things

#1 - the encoder will take your message, and insert it into the APP13 header of your jpeg image using PHP's iptcparse & iptcembed functions. not only does it insert the message but, it inserts it encrypted - and my encryption was designed to match the rest of the image so if you open your image with notepad then your message won't appear in plain text.

#2 - the decoder then decrypts the message for reading, and spits it back to the browser.

so after you use the encoder, and save the "encoded" image, you can send the image to whoever you want and only those who know about my script can read the secret messages with the decoder it's how h@xx0rs pass notes! hehe. although my script doesn't seem to work with jpeg's created with digital camera's for some reason.. only difference i can find is digi-pics have "exif" in the code whereas other jpeg's have "jfif" so i'll probably deny digi-pics all together in the future

i actually got the idea from a movie that i can't recall the name of.. all i remember is that it was futuristic and two kids were passing notes (embeded into images) to each other by computer

RE: Mr Notepad

Actually it is Morgan Freeman. "Along Came a Spider" is the prequel to "Kiss the Girls".
