Outage
Little outage for about 20 minutes there...

Sorry about that. Completely my fault. I posted a sample script in a forum and then moments later realized I ahd left a database username and password in it. Changed the password for that, but needed to go through several scripts and change the variables for the password. Forgot about one and couldn't for the life of me figure where the connect error was coming from. Found it, and now we are back up..

Stupid mistake...sorry

Well, that was a rare thing! I was online at that moment when that nasty thing happened and also I saw Matt online. After that whenever I refereshed the pages it said "Error: Connection to MySQL server 'localhost' failed."... Whew!!! I thought he is teaching someone how to connect to a MySQL database with a real-time example :laugh:
