PHP Rocks

I just have to say that I am very impressed with PHP. I have been developing jsp pages for a while and recently a friend introduced me to PHP, and all I can say is wow!!! I have been at it for about 2 months now. My development time has decreased, and I can find solutions to problems much quicker than with jsp.

RE: PHP Rocks

I was going to look into JSP a while back but i looked at one of the books i had on it and nearly fell asleep after a few pages. Perhaps it was just me being ignorant and not willing to try other things.

Anyway welcome to Codewalkers...

You are definitley right PHP does Rock!! The way it has been designed allows for quick development. But make sure you avoid the pitfalls to write maintainable code!

Obviously we like PHP or we wouldn't be here but do keep in mind that like any tool it has it's strengths and weaknesses. I will not get into a discussion what those strengths and weaknesses are since that is completely dependant upon the coders preferences.

Admittedly though it will not be the proper tool for all needs but where it works well - Yeah it rocks
