My understanding is that that was never going to occur... but I could also be mistaken...

RE: star wars

I'm going to say "no" on the #7, at least by George Lucas anyways.. And I hope to god no one else tries to pull it off.. Even though Mr. Lucas did stumble a bit on his last three..

RE: star wars

That's kind of like, how could there be a ... hmm.. Diablo 3, if you did or didn't know, Diablo was defeated, then they created the Baal add-on, and he was defeated.

I mean, theoretically, something again could go wrong, I doubt it, and I hope to god I never do see an episode 7. ( I loooove starwars, but come on, give it a nice ending, and let's leave it at that. )

RE: star wars

there were originally supposed to be 9 movies... didn't you ever wonder who yoda was referring to when he said "no, there is another" referring to another jedi besides luke. he was referring to his sister princess lea.

anyway lucas swore up and down he'd never do episodes 1-3.. now he's swearing up and down he won't do 7-9, even though mark hamill said in an interview that lucas "hypothetically" asked him in the beginning if he'd consider making an appearance in one of the final movies (that aren't supposed to happen). time will tell.

RE: star wars

IMHO, 1 and 2 weren't nearly as good as the orignal 3, I hope 3 isn't a disappointment like the other 2 were, because I'm really looking forward to it, I'm just afraid of what will happen if he keeps going, I'm afraid he'll mess up a really good series.... I really hpe 3 is amazing, I plan on seeing it at midnight !!!

RE: star wars

haha, I was thinking exactly that, big scary ewoks.

I mean, Laya (or however you spell it) could go to the dark side, she'd look hot in that gold bikini and a darth vader mask

Well, now I feel educated. But still, he needs to stop here. I hope this movie is awesome, and he goes out on a good note.

RE: star wars

My brother asked me to see it with him opening midnight, I said no, but after seeing more previews I wish I'd said yes. I'll see it with some friends or something. It does look sweet, and I hope he doesn't make any more.
