This site is a joke

Does anyone actually answer ANY of these queries, I mean anyone who actually KNOWS php???
I see posts that have been up for ages with no answers or answers from other users who have no clue what they are doing but are just trying to help....

And where have you been helpfull? It's so easy to complaint, especially when you can do it anonymously...
I'd say that there are some very helpfull people on this board, however most of them also have jobs, wifes, children and other things to do besides helping people out with their programming troubles (which most of the time they can easily solve themselves by looking in the manual).
The time it took me to write this message I could have used to answer someone else's question, but now it's late and I have to get some sleep, so someone else now just has to wait for his answer and that's your fault!

Let's see. I'm using the free calendar tool which I like better than any other that I have found in the last 2 years.

I'm participating in a free forum to get information about the product and other ideas that I have.

I have on my list to investigate the Webmaster Product or at least ask some about it and nobody has gotten on my case for not doing it and generating a souce of $.

I think the exchange as been one sided and to my benefit. Hopefully, I can find a way to give back.

If you dont get a questrion answered, try SEARCHING!!! it does wonders, try SEARCHING BEFORE YOU POST, i rarely post here as i have the ability and knowledge to SEARCH the forum and 99% of the time find exactly what im after instead of double posting because im too lazy to search and im not afraid of learning by having to do a little bit more reading to save time instead of being a fat lazy *** and expecting people to tell me the answer to my problem.
One reason i dont bother to answer some questions i see here is because they have been answered a million times or are that easy anyone can find an answer within minutes by a simple SEACH!!!

At least people are trying to help instead of just complaining... It doesn't matter what skill level a person is at, they are trying to help and that is the important thing.

Also if you're going to complain at least do it in the right board, general.

If this site is so unhelpful to you, then please go away and don't come back.

Just thought I'd say hello, and keep this "wonderful topic" live a little longer- lol. This is the best php spot on the web- it's far more helpful than the boards where people are frowned on for asking simpler questions, the tutorials are outstanding and it all runs perfectly. Many thanks to all who keep things ticking along here.

Yes yes I'd have to agree with everyone else... this place has been very great for answering my questions. Sometimes my questions arn't answered right away but everyone is really nice about it.

I'm a complete noob at this and still learning and my will to learn this is very high. This site is no joke and I think the community is great.

However sometimes I wonder why there are so many guests and few users logged on haha.

And yes most questions you can find in a book or search the forums. I try to keep the questions down but sometimes books don't quite explain it as well people in a forum.

I doubt that the "gutsy" anonymous poster will return to respond, but I just have to wonder, just how many questions did he/she answer before posting this ridiculous post? Do tell, anonymous, do tell!

I have to add something to this. I wouldn't have 'fourthed' this if the feedback Anonymous gave had been REAL feedback. Then what is real feedback? Real feedback tells EXACTLY what is wrong with the site/program/whatever. It should also report only problems that are able to be fixed. What is Matt able to do if you find other users unhelpful?
