very OT but desperate
Hi!
I'm lost here, don't know what to do. The situation is this: I got a CD with photos (suppossed to be jpeg-files) but I can't read any of them on my old dell laptop. The person that gave the cd to me burnt it on some kind of mac-thingy. Ok, you may think, it's just your old cd-reader that really sucks, but no, because there are some other emtpy files that I can open and that really pisses me off. Any help appreciated! /T |

RE: very OT but desperate
does your cd reader have up-to-date drivers?
can you see the image files but not open them, or do they just not show up? maybe it's a problem with the CD? |

RE: very OT but desperate
Apparently it's a known issue with some versions of mac os.
I just got tired of it and set up an ftp-server on my local network, borrowed my friends computer for an afternoon and uploaded all the files to my computer. /T |
